Un nez bien construit.
Pas très gras.

Visiting Mauritius really switched me onto rum in a big way for the first time. I bought myself a small bottle of this delightful XO to take home with me, having visited the lovely property Le Domaine de Saint Aubin. It's rich, not unduly sweet and unctuous, with a compelling subtlety and flavoursome complexity. The lingering finish had me cursing I didn't have a full size bottle ...

Rhum vieux agricole XO (6 ans) de la distillerie Saint Aubin, Ile Maurice.
Bouteille : Sobre et efficace, ce rhum titre 44°.
Nez : fruits confits et chocolat.
Bouche : attaque assez sèche puis fruité, avec des notes de fruits secs et de boisé.
Finale : Belle longueur en bouche.
Une bonne surprise que ce rhum, assez proche des meilleurs rhums vieux martiniquais.

This rum has a dried fruits flavour. Nutty notes in the nose. Riped on oak and cognac barrels....
