Rum pochází z NRJ (National Rums of Jamaica) a zrál 15 let v sudech po bourbonu.
Dozvuk: Švestky, špendlíky, sušené meruňky i švestky. Středně dlouhý, lehce větrový.
Sladkost: 0/3
Ochutnán vzorek
Hezky ovocná, pohodová a velmi jemná Jamajka. Cena cca 250 € je však docela úlet. I o dost lepší Jamajky (i velierovská plnění) se dají sehnat podstatně levněji.
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

A really refined hogo rum from Jamaica

I saw this 15 year old Long Pond rum from Trelawny Jamaica and could not pass it up at only $136 US. Notice from the picture that mine does not have the fancy bottle as seen on many sites. This saved me at least $20 US.
I will start off by saying that I have never been a fan of strong hogo in rums from Jamaica. Fifteen years of aging has turned this once crude rum into one suitable for a gentleman. The hogo is still there, but is now much more presentable. This is now the best Jamaican rum that I have ever tried, which is a lot. It is just a damn shame that it costs so much and was only $14 US below my maximum allowable amount to pay for a rum. However, this one winds up as my second most expensive rum that warrants repeat purchases.
