Brewdog 500 Cuts Coconut And Vanilla

I’m am genuinely shocked how nondescript this rum tastes, especially given the fact that it’s coconut and vanilla flavoured. Neat, I will concede that Brewdog have managed to create a relatively smooth rum. However, this is where my minuscule amount of love I have for this drink comes to an abrupt end. That’s because this rum is just very wishy washy! It’s so bland and boring that I cannot make out any notes of coconut nor vanilla. If anything, it smells and tastes more like burnt caramel! But that’s not even the worst part! Brewdog Coconut and Vanilla Rum is so dreadful, that not even mixing it with Coca-Cola, the perfect go to mixer for the vast majority of flavoured rums, can save this particular rum from tasting like something that should be poured down the drains.
