Good taste. Chocolate and orange. Sweet and smooth.
The aftertaste is more complex with pepper and spices.

Rum vonia príjemné sladkasto po mede a ovocí. Chuť plná, sladká. Ovocie, med, hrozienka. Príjemné sladkasté pitie.

Aroma is gentle and light. Taste is sweeter with honey tones. Aftertaste is shorter, but pleasant with a bit of pepper burning on palate. Ok rjm but missing the complexity. 7.5 points.

It is really good rum, it is super soft and sweet at the beginning, but it has no body and it comes directly to the long woody aftertaste. Perfectly drinkable, you can even distinguish orange and chocolate in it, but for 18 years old rum, I would have expected more.

Appearance: Deep amber.

Nose: Lively, honeyed, with fresh and aromatic nose of cola, bergamot, dates, orange peel and vermouth. There is a very evident touch of esters, but it remains light and sunny.

Palate: Sweet and fruity but agile, with a lightness of mouthfeel that is quite refreshing. Sugarcane molasses, chocolate, raisins, and again a great balance between orange peel, cola and coconut.

Finish: Black tea, sugary sweetness, honey and complete smoothness: warm but not too peppery, with chamomile notes too.

Comment: A colourful decanter for the new release of our sweet and soft Panama rum. The finesse of Spanish style distillation gives life to a light-bodied rum with a great aromatic complexity and freshness, caressing and easy to drink, rich of tropical fruits, dates and chocolate.

Dejlig duft, hvor man kan fornemme noter fra vin. Smagen er lidt chokolade, hvis man kan nå at fange den, for den forsvinder hurtigt. Har en lidt bitter smag, som muligvis stammer fra balsamico. Skal ikke have plads i mit barskab (21. December 2018 i MacY)

Actually is a 7.5. prety long finish with notes of caramel and honey. A little bit sweet rum but no added sugar. Nice taste. Taste of the barrel's wood. A little bit expensive but its a nice rum
