This is definitely not a good rum but I can safely say that I have had worse...WAY worse! It's not very complex as it is just a well rum. That said, it didn't have much burn or bite and didn't smell like rocket fuel. In general, it's just a neutral gold colored rum. It's mission in life is to fuel my Piña Colada while I'm in Puerto Rico and for $9, it's tough to say it isn't worth the money. It's pretty decent considering its unquestionable destiny in the hands of most people, including myself.
