Strong dark chocolate / brownies smell, very sweet. Reminds me of chocolate Termix. Some walnuts can be smelled too, but not so much. For taste very sweet. Tastes exactly as written on bottle. Very good dessert rum. Less sugar would be more appreciated.
I tried six chocolate rums last week and was disappointed. While looking for other chocolate flavored rums I found this one and since I liked the Peanut butter flavored Razel's i tried it out. It's great. A bit sweet but it smells like chocolate and tastes like - well, like a chocolate brownie. Mainly dark chocolate but there are some hints of walnut. All in all it is a great rum. Very smooth, almost no spice. Just a tiny bit too sweet for my taste.
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Tasted only thanks to a test sample at the interdrinks store. I'll start with the pros. The manufacturer managed to adjust the advertised flavor so that you perceive it strong enough, but at the same time it does not completely overpower the taste of rum. For ladies, it might be quite nice to drink something that warms and tastes like a dessert. And now the cons. I haven't done much research, but I have a strong feeling that the manufacturer took some Caribbean base rum and just mixed in artificial flavors to achieve the result. This would correspond to an alcohol content of 38%. If I took, for example, Plantation original dark and mixed choco brownie flavor into it, it would probably turn out the same and I wouldn't have to pay 600,- CZK for 0.5l, which with the standard 0.7l comes out to 850,- and for that you will already buy a lot more music. Emotionally for 7* -1* for the origin of the rum and -1* for the price. The same rating applies to all three variants offered by the manufacturer.
