A truly superb rum! Worth creating an account just so one can express some well deserved praise for it.
Nose: Complex and balanced, with notes of summer fruits, red wine, caramel, toffee, vanilla, and hints of toasted oak and dark chocolate.
Palate: Rich and velvety, unfolding flavours of ripe strawberry, raspberry, and plum, complemented by layers of oak, chocolate, coffee, vanilla, and a gentle spiciness.
Finish: Long and warming, plum, strawberry, and candied orange peel, lasting hints of oak and spice linger.
One very alluring juice.

Favorite Foursquare I’ve had so far. Minor heat / subtle barrel flavor. Can really taste everything that went into this one. Try it if possible.

Intense fruity tones, wine, canded fruit, smooth burn and rather short oakey tail.

I really like a slight note of vine in this SCR.
Lower alcohol content makes it more drinkable.
What a pitty only 2 bottles per person and sold out after 2-3 days.

Que dire de ce délice? Un rhum excellent digne de la Barbade. Il est chaud, gourmand, légèrement gras avec des notes de vanille coco cacao maigre, d'une douceur incroyable.

I’m a huge Foursquare fan and have been eagerly awaiting for them to return to a Zinfandel cask release since I was such a huge fan of their earlier release. This did not disappoint!
Even though it has a fairly high ABV of 48%, it goes down remarkably easy and has a really nice combination of sweetness and more oaky taste from the bourbon barrels.
I love this release and my main concern is how many bottles can I afford before it disappears for goof!

Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label
