Good Austrian attempt

out of 10
Stubby bottle, arty label, synthetic stopper.
No additives, no colouring, not sweetened.
Gold in colour with orange hues.
Nose: fat raisins, reminiscent of the Austrian Stroh Rum, but much more refined. Very fruit, some chelate notes.
Mouth: young, aggressive, spiritey but not unpleasant. Dried fruit notes dominate, but fade quite quickly. Very short palate.
Throat: surprisingly smooth, little burn.
Conclusion: OK sipper, but probably a better mixer.
