Arehucas 12-Year

Me costó 17'50€ y la verdad como va estuchado no me molesté en mirarlo, tiene posos y es por el corcho, pero está cojonudo fuerte pero dulce con gran dulzor en el final, desde luego para tomarlo solo o con hielo, nunca para mezclar, no sé si decantarlo o dejarlo como está....por cierto la foto que aparece aquí tiene no es, hay que actualizarse y poner las fotos actuales, flaco favor os hacéis......

It's not a top-shelf rum by any means. The taste is flat, straightforward, simple. No surprising finish, no change of taste. On the other hand, it's quite good. I enjoyed it.

Not so bad taste till you try Arehucas 18. Wood, vanilla.

This is made in the Canary Islands where I live, and Arehucas, specially this 12 years, is made in the island of Gran Canaria being the best rum among the islands.

Very nice sweet rum, with caramel, orange on nose, not too strong alcohol and quite long aftertaste.

Best rum from canarian islands, not bad, but not excelent, still some burn from alcohol.
It is between 6 and 7, I give 7 due to very nice bottle.

Arehucas 12 years is a cheap rum perfect for mixing with coke or lemon (my personal preference).

Aroma is light and weak. Taste is sweet with honey and molasse. Not complex and short aftertaste but overal not bad, especialy when produced at Canary Islands :-)

This is a decent purchase. Frankly, it has not got the depth of flavour of the 18. I’d buy and drink the18 every time, but this is a good rum.
