Nose excellent, sweet ripe fruit. First taste superb, hints of Sherry but not overpowering perfectly blended. Taste of ripe bananas raisins in dark brown sugar and rum dusted oatmeal. I’m surprised and blown away, having tried both the Caribbean dark and 17 year old Trinidad. Now i’m scenting mild cinnamon and baking spices on the nose. Reminiscent of some of the older Plantation offerings only better. This rum is awesome find it buy it try it.
Funny I see nothing on their website about this one, and the Flaviar logo is under the seal. Maybe they have an exclusive on it. I like this rum a lot and did not expect to. To me this is what real rum is all about a blend from four Caribbean islands finished in sherry casks.
