Very dark colored. Sweet caramel, hazelnut, coffee and indeed a hint of curry in the nose. The sweetness continues in the palate with hints of orange. Nice dessert rum from India.

Sweet nose but bitter taste, probably additives mixed with overripe rum.

Duft af frugt. Appelsin. Men ikke meget. Smager som en lyserød skumjulemand. Duft og smag lys karamel. En smule tynd. Ligger mellem 4 og 5. (16. december 2021 i 1423)

Mahogany color in the glass.
The nose is exotic and interesting. Freshly roasted spices and onions, a delicious pineapple curry is freshly prepared in a street kitchen. Freshly baked flatbreads are hawked.
Round and sweet on the palate. A concentrate for Indian tea, candied fruit, pineapple, mango, papaya, fresh flowers, caramel Inde, some chocolate flakes and a pinch of salt.
The finish is sweet, sticky and curry, leaving behind a freshness like after a monsoon rain.
A slightly different rum, perhaps as a dessert after the Indian? For beginners, curry fans, travelers and explorers. -7

Had just a sample of this rum that’s an 8yo column still rum produced from molasses as well as cane juice.
From the nose via mouth and palate to the medium long finish I recognized strawberry sweets, chocolate and licorice together with oak.
Overall I think it’s a quite well balanced, smooth and pleasant rum that’s much better than expected and I wouldn’t hesitate if someone offered me a glass.

Nice amber colour. Notes of vanilla and caramel. Lot of sweetness but a little burning sensation from start.

Vůně marshmallow, tedy uměle smetanovo-jahodová?!!! Snad i ořechy?
Chuť sladká karamelová, vanilka, trochu dub
Dochuť superkrátká lehounce štiplavá, lehounce čokoláda, to marshmallow?
Co to bylo?
Bod plus za tygry.

Color: Very nice deep amber to darker gold. Looks great in the glass.

Nose: Sweet caramel and vanilla marshmallow. The slightest hint of strawberry dessert.

Mouth: Even burn, good depth and roundness. Vanilla marshmallow carries through but sweet caramel less so. Very integrated flavor, little bit tight even. With a drop of water it opens up very nicely yet remains very balanced. A lack of strong flavors despite an overall balanced profile.

Finish: Average linger and maybe towards shorter side. No new flavors developing and peters out evenly.

This rum has its heart in the right place by donating some of its proceeds to tiger conservation. Apart from that it’s really not a bad product. I was expecting a complete gimmick here but I’ve had far worse rums than this for more money so I’m pleasantly surprised.

Smells of candied apple and tastes like cream soda. The most bizarre rum Ive tasted recently. Wait... just had another sip... yep candied apple and oak. So strange yet very satisfying. Im surprised people thought this has no flavour. I would try again anytime.
