This is a rum selected by Guillaume de Roany in the aging house of the ReimonenQ Distillery.
It’s said that the Eiffel Tower at the label is a tribute to Leopold Reimonenq, the son of one of the Finnish founders of the distillery that was founded in 1916 in Sainte-Rose.
The nose is fresh, round, vegetal and fruity with hints of lime, nuts and pepper.
In mouth and at the palate it’s very soft, smooth, fruity, oily and well balanced with hints of lime and pepper.
The rather long finish is dry with hints of bitter almonds.
Overall a great very smooth and well balanced Agricole.
Picture: My emptied sample together with a poured glass and my unopened bottle.
Al naso sorprende con esteri, maturati, mais inscatolato, frutta secca tostata, note funky.
Al palato permane il mais e i maturati, note di frutta secca tostata e agrumi, conservando una certa rotondità, davvero gradevole
