Slot #16 in my Advent Calendar, 8+

This rum from the ReimonenQ distillery in Guadeloupe is selected by Guillaume de Roany and Rhums du Sud.
It’s a single cask aged for 6 months in cognac casks and limited to 248 bottles.
Directly in the nose it’s unmistakable an ReimonenQ with the fruity and spicy aroma together with licorice/anise.
In mouth and at the palate it’s then an explosion of tastes which reminds me of the first ReimonenQ I tasted long ago.
I find it quite hard to identify what it tastes, but it’s really a great rum.
The finish goes on in the same way, but is short to medium which is the only reason that I stop at 8+.
ReimonenQ normally releases their rum at 40%. So after tasting this one I really hope they will release rum at higher ABV.
Overall a fantastic Agricole with a little too short finish.
