Italy | Agricole | 50.0% ABV | Column Still (1-4) Distilled
Rum Nation Guadeloupe Blanc is a pure sugarcane juice rum with a strong and complex aroma that resembles freshly-cut grass and citrusy notes. It is full-bodied, smooth and has hints of pepper, spices, and floral flavors that give it a distinctive character. It is bottled at 50% ABV and is traditionally enjoyed on its own, with ice or as a base for cocktails. As a white rum, it is un-aged and has a clear color with a slight viscosity. The rum is produced via a traditional distillation process, carried out in copper stills using the unique terroir of the Guadeloupe Islands in the Caribbean. Overall, Rum Nation Guadeloupe Blanc is a high-quality white rum that is recommended for those who appreciate the taste of an aged rum, but prefer a lighter and fresher experience.

Naprosto nudný rum, bez charakteru, ale v koktejlu bych se ho nebál. Hodnocení 74.
Selection of agricole's in BC Canada is almost nil, so when Rum Nation's Guadaloupe arrived, I threw down. Unfortunately, a disappointment that left my ti punch lacking the punch, grassiness, and funk of the Martinician agricoles and the Karukera offerings.

Its either genius or disaster, but somehow this rum tastes like tequila. I've only tried a handful of agricole, all of which are a metric tonne better than this offering. Usually rum nation is pretty reliable but this rum lacks the deeper and refined flavour of vegetative agricole. Dont get me wrong, this has rum definitely has funk, but its just not palatable to me. I change my mind about it tasting like tequila...if you are missing the ingredients to a pisco sour, this rum is a substitute for the entire cocktail. I'll try to not let this affect my opinion of rum nation which usually has rum of good quality. I guess when youve leftover rum, you have to market it somehow.
