Bought me two bottles of this limited Chairman’s Reserve Master’s Selection created for Slovakia from the Slovakian shop Svet nápojov/Bondston.
It’s a blend of rum from the John Dore 1 (Pot Still) and the Vendome (Double Retort) selected by the Cellar Master Cyril Mangal.
After distillation it was aged for 8 years in oak ex-bourbon barrels before bottled in just 287 bottles.
The aroma is fruity, spicy, nutty, woody and quite round.
The taste is a little sprawling but I recognize honey, caramel, oak, pepper, citrus and pineapple.
The finish tastes the same and is medium long, but quite weak.
Overall an interesting rum with an elegant aroma, sprawling esters rich taste and a medium long finish.

- vůně velmi příjemná, zlehka do Trinidadu, bylinky, koření v kombinaci se sladkou vůní ovoce, zelené jablka
- chuť nasládlá, koření, bylinky, opět podobná Trinidadu v 46%
