Rum Nation 2008 Savanna 10-Year is a well-crafted, aged rum from the tropical island of Réunion in the Indian Ocean. It is distilled from fermented molasses and aged for a decade in ex-bourbon barrels, resulting in a rich golden hue with aromas of vanilla, caramel, and oak. The medium-bodied palate is smooth and delicate, with flavors of dried fruits, spices, and a hint of tropical fruitiness. The finish is long and warming, with a gentle sweetness and subtle smokiness. Overall, this is a refined and complex rum suitable for sipping neat or as a base for cocktails.

I say typical Savanna 9 out of 10
I say typical and good Savanna. Fruity on nose, typical bronze color in glass. Wood tones and leather, cacao and vanilla. Not exactly dry neither sweet. After taste is one of the long ones, in the end you find mint. It goes well with cigar. For me very balanced. If I compare it with 13y version I prefer this one. The older sister has more burn due higher ABV and too much wood and bitterness.
