This Montebello Blanc, vintage 2020, from the Carrere distillery in Guadeloupe is selected by Guillaume de Roany and “Les Rhums du Sud”. They sailed it to Europe and bottled it in 137 numbered 50cl bottles.
In nose it’s elegant, fruity, spicy and vegetal.
On the palate it’s also fruity, spicy and vegetal but also round despite the high ABV.
The finish is long and goes on in the same way but it’s also very dry and fad.
Overall a fantastic Agricole Blanc that’s almost sold out.
If you have a chance to buy one, do that.
