Plantation 2006 Peru 14-Year

Chocolate and cocoa. Some vanilla. Also fruity. Nice and long finish. It is pretty complex and yet still easy to drink.

I generally tend to like the Plantation rums more than the Foursquare rums and this is another decent (though not great) rum from Plantation.

Smells and tastes of oak, bourbon, vanilla, nuts, with a hint of cinnamon.

Rum pochází z destilerie Cartavio Rum Company a zrál 11 let v Peru v 200l sudech po bourbonu a 3 roky ve Francii v 400l sudech po koňaku Ferrand.
Celkem bylo nalahvováno 21 sudů v kolaboraci mezi A. Gabrielem a Jorge Luisem Rodriguezem (master blenderem Cartavio Rum Company).
Na etiketě je vyobrazen skalňák andský (Rupicola peruvianus), národní pták Peru.

Aroma: Lehce kořeněná vanilka, dřevo, pikantnost, svěží závan ovoce (banány, pomeranče).
Chuť: Vanilka, lehká nakouřenost a špetička koření. Velmi jemná.
Dozvuk: Hořká vanilka, kořenité kakao a určitá pikantnost. Střední.

Vůně pěkná, chuť a dozvuk zvlášť neuchvátí. V rámci celé ptačí série takový střed.

Pleasant, heavy, tobacco, leather aromas. Not too sweet, dark chocolate with marmalade.

Looks like a regular bottle but it has a lovely weight to it. A dark golden colour with a slight woody aroma. A strong flavour in the mouth, not sweet and it is long lasting.

Notes of Dark Chocolate and Vanilla with a hint of Mango. Really good stuff!

Pre mňa najlepší kúsok zo série. Veľmi príjemná, sladká a výrazná vôňa. Cítim oriešky, trstinový cukor, ovocie a veľmi príjemné aj sud. Ani veľa ani málo. Odporúčam vyskúšať ak máte radi sladšie rumy!
