Nose: Funk at the forefront, with petrol and acetate. After some time, traces of sweetness lead to old banana peel, damp wood covered with moss, and singed flower petals. Crystallized honey. It's intriguing, but I feel this would do much better if the funk was toned down a bit to let more of the sweet flavors emerge.
Palate: The arrival delivers the same funk on the nose before revealing toasted wood, dark chocolate, overripe grapes, and an effervescent highball served with pistachios. Afterward, a burst of walnuts and chocolate raisins. Hints of copper and almost buttered biscuits. Much more balanced than the nose.
Finish: The funk steps aside and lets grapes, popsicle sticks, and sugar-coated banana slices. Long.
