Pro lidi co mají rádi sladké rumu, to je dobrý poměr ceny / kvality,
Drinkable. First impression very good, but with little harsh spirit ending. Better than average rum. Good for plain drinking, not recommended for sipping.
Chuť: Vodová, vanilka a bonbóny
Dozvuk: Sušené ovoce, lehce kouřové, překvapivě nelihové
Sladkost: 2/3

A representative of cheap supermarket rums

out of 10
I tried to find out who the manufacturer was, but I couldn't. Personally, I assume the rum is made to order for a Czech company called Premier Wines & Spirits. The rum is not available anywhere else but in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. All supermarkets had it on sale before Christmas.
According to the description, it is a blend of rums from the Dominican Republic, Guyana and Trinidad with a maximum age of 15 years. It was aged in bourbon barrels. The proportion of each rum in the blend is not stated. Alcohol content 37,5% (just enough to still call it rum in EU).
Bottle: Classic one closed with a real cork stopper.
Colour: Honey.
Nose: Pinched and immatured. The rum has scent of vanilla, raisins, caramel, overripe apricots, pepper and a little wood.
Taste: It's better than the aroma. At first it burns on the tongue but then mellows out. It is sweet, but not over-sweetened. However, it is slightly watery (that's about the %ABV). The taste has flavour of vanilla, dark chocolate cinnamon, walnuts, pepper and a slight woodiness.
Finish: It is quite short.
As I wrote, it's a cheap rum from the 'Caribbean' available in any supermarket for around 20 EUR. It's better than Czech rum Republica, but at that price I'd probably grab e.g. Pampero Aniversario.
