Last rum tasting in Finland for the foreseeable future continues onwards with Bristol Classic Caroni 1997 Cask Strength. Nice and unique bottle and label design. Bright golden color. Solid Caroni flavors to your nose and palate when neat sipped. Super dry ending due to 123 Proof bottling.

Tried this side by side with a couple of Velier releases and really matched up very well especially on the palate. Lovely, well balanced and mouth coating. Sweet smoked wood, Citrussy, vanilla, a wee bit of tar. Hard to find and pricey but definitely worth it
