Sampled Ironworks Distillery newest addition, their “TEN” years rum today. This rum is made in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, Canada. To quote the company’s description of this rum:

“Aged in Ex-Bourbon and new Hungarian oak barrels with at least one French oak wine barrel in the mix, Ironworks TEN Rum doesn't disappoint. We really recommend that you savour it first on its own, neat and preferably room temperature. That way you will really be able to enjoy all the nuances in flavour; black cherry on the nose and tongue, long sweet elegant finish.”

I have sampled most rums made in Nova Scotia, CANADA and this rum is by far the best one ever produced. This rum is pure (no added sugar), simply delicious and the presentation is outstanding. I ended up purchasing 4 bottles (500 ml) which retail for $62 CAD.

Well done!
