An ok rum. Easy going. Nothing wrong about it but too "Light". However is a clean fruity with Nice aromas, but again light and young..
In my opinion fits better for mixing.
There are far more better options in the price range. Plantation 5 barbados is simular but slightly better and chaper.

The Maison du Rhum recently unveiled a new range: Discovery . For the moment, it consists of four references, each of which is dedicated to a particular region: Paraguay, Panama, French Antilles and the one we present here, Barbados.

The island of Barbados is, as we know, one of the historic cradles of rum, and it is to reconnect with this prestigious past that the Maison du Rhum has selected this cuvée.

It is an old rum, having benefited from a maturation of 5 years in Bourbon barrels, representative of the purest English style.

A beautiful flexibility, a great balance, it benefits from many advantages!

After aeration, it delivers powerful aromas of vanilla and biscuits, while in the mouth, tobacco, dried fruits and figs predominate and seduce us in a few moments.
