Rum tasting in Houston Texas continues onwards with Bombarda 5y Rum. Definitely unique bottle and label design. Hay color. Plenty of oakiness mixed with vanilla extract to your nose and palate when neat sipped. Mixer rum only, not a neat sipper.

Complex taste and full-bodied, good for beginners and veterans. Taste rises in sweetness to a cresendo to then to a long lasting slight caramel finish. Burn also continues but in a good way.
