Aroma: Velmi výrazné - arašídové máslo, určitá gumovost, dochucovadlo Maggi. Nepříjemná vůně.
Chuť: Lehce svíravá, zemitá (hliněná)
Dozvuk: Lehce rašelina, krátce sladké tóny, poté hořkne
Sladkost: 1/3
Ochutnávka whisky Kilchoman Machir Bay / Plantation Trinidad 1997 / Plantation Fiji 2009.

Aged 8.5y in tropics, 2y continentally +(or including) 6m in Kilchoman cask.
Almost 50° proof.

Surprisedly (for strong alcohol) easy on nose. Aromatic and attractive.

On the palate very pronounced peat which soon explodes into bunch of flowers, dried exotic fruits, something new in my experience. Absolutely smooth, 50° only makes it warm. Well balanced between sweet and dry, maybe +yota on sweetness.

Aftertaste is long and nutty.

Forget about scotch - drink rum! ;-)
