Nice graphics and slightly Art Deco box and packaging. This might be my first Corman Collins offering. I love the amber slightly brown color in the bottle, no BS or much info other than single distillery, Panamanian, 13 year old cask strength I presume at 60.2 percent. Just opened to let this puppy breath. I think this might need a bit of ice but here we go neat. Color remains the same in the glass, slight alcohol scent on the nose nothing more. As anticipated comes in full and hot but great flavor potential. Let’s add a small cube to open it up further, ok it’s more approachable now and next step is trying to figure the Panamanian distillery. From what I gather there are 4 distilleries in Panama I’m going to make an educated guess Hacienda San Isidro (Varela Hermanos) who makes Ron Abuelo. I taste slight hints but with over 60% alcohol I could be wrong. So back to the rum, I find the 60%+ alcohol dominating this rum. It’s good but just hard to drink even with a small ice cube.
