A little boozy on the aftertaste but still mellom and very vanilla from the oak. I enjoyed it!

Tenhle rum se holedbá nízkou ekologickou stopou. Otázkou je nakolik je to marketing. Chuťové mi přijde celkem podobný jejich 12y. Za mě příjemné pití pro lidi, co nemusí sladké.

Thanks Flor de Cana for the eliksiir -
just what rum must be: Rich, Deep and Rum!

This one tastes a tiny bit more spicy than the 18Y, but it is still smooth as well. But, like all other products of this brand I‘ve tasted so far, it lacks in volume and body.

Dont get me wrong. This is a pretty respectable rhum. However, i was à little bit desapointed. I had big expectations since i found quite delicious the 12 years. So i was expecting more, but the taste was not there.

Sugar: estimated at 5 GPL. Not much to report on this 15 year old version from Flor de Cana rum distillery. Similar to, but with a slight upgrade from the 12 year old rum. Oak, vanilla, a bit of caramel and some spice to give it a bite.
Excellent mixer, but it holds it's own a sipper with a touch of ice.
Not sure if it's worth the extra cost when compared to the 12 year old vintage.

Taste is very similar to 12y and the question is, if make sense to pay more money...

Caramel, hazelnut and vanilla aroma; caramel, honey and spicy pepper in body; not significant tail.

Like all other Flor de Cana products, the 15yo is deliciously dry, with amazing notes of oak, vanilla bean, and coffee. It's slightly hot, but in the best way possible, bathing the palate. It's rich colour exemplifies it's profile. Definitely worth the pick up considering how affordable it is!

Amber color, worth it price. It is very smooth. There is no extraordinary flavour but it is enjoyable. Good for sipping.

Smooth with a simple molasses flavor and short finish. Nothing bad but no striking flavors to savor. Might be good as a background rum in a cocktail, it is inoffensive. My understanding is that it may be available in the US in Q4 2023.
