Martinique | Agricole | 51.3% ABV
Saint James 2015 Cellar Reserve Single Batch 5-Year is a premium rum crafted in Martinique, a French island in the Caribbean famous for its high-quality rum production. This single batch rum was aged for five years in oak barrels, giving it a rich golden color and a complex flavor profile. Notes of vanilla, caramel, and toasted nuts are complemented by hints of spice and tropical fruit. The finish is smooth and balanced, with a pleasant warmth that lingers after the last sip. This rum is an excellent choice for sipping neat or mixing in cocktails that require a bold, flavorful rum.

I was typing my review on the app but it got deleted. Nice rum, bourbon barrel influence is strong but still an Agricole at heart. I like the high-ish proof. Good sipper.

Good rhum 7 out of 10
I got a sample for this one.
On the nose, it smells like corn, Heavily influenced by Bourbon which I like but not so much on a rum.
On the palate, vanilla and some herbal notes from the sugarcane also more corn.
The aftertaste is very pleasant the bourbon taste disappears and then comes some herbal notes.
Is very good. If you are someone that is into Bourbon and trying to expand into the Agricole style this will be a good option.
