Riviere du Mat Black Spiced

Rum did not disappoint. Very good combination of spice flavour, aroma and spirity. And all this pleasure for quite reasonable money. My recommendation.

A dark rum quite spiced
Less sweetness and subtile in Taste compared to my other tasting…

Delicious, great with coke, less great on it’s own but still very nice. A very potent vanilla smell that translates well into the taste. Goes down very easily and is super smooth.

I bought this as a cheap experiment and was positively surprised. Just as tasteful as Kraken with Coke but about less the price! Could also be sipped quite easily.

Propably one the of the best spiced budget rums. Fruity flavour finished with vanilla. With coke I'd definitely add a lime wedge to cut down the sweetness abit.

Rum has a pleasing vanilla aroma together with chocolate and raisins. It is very thick and sweet, I guess that's because it has lots of additonal sugar. Goes smoothly, but still bites throat a bit afterwards. I would say it is too sweet, way too sweet, at least for me. I guess I would blend in perfectly in cocktails where sweetness get diluted by other ingredients

This is one of my favourite rums. It is a very nice taste and I would recommend it.

Great with coke zero. Don't drink it immediatly after adding the mixer. Let is settle for 5 mins. Same for sprite. Aftertaste is a bit too much when drinking it neat.
