I drank one of the bottles of 2019. It's very sweet, with a lot of flavour nevertheless, no burn what so ever, all in all a very smooth sipper. Only downside to this bottle for me is the aftertaste, while it's very good it doesn't last very long. You really need to let the rum go round in your mouth for a (long) while to have some aftertaste at all. It is worth it to drink this one very slowly, and I mean very slowly...
Because of this I would rate it between 6.5 and 7. It would have been an 8 if the taste would stay longer. I would very much like to try the older opthimus bottles or the whiskey finish. I think that especially the whiskey finish would solve my issue with this bottle.
Not the best rum but clearly good quality. Defined aroma
Sladší rum krásné jantarové barvy z Dominikánské republiky. Chuťově dobrý, ale žádný zázrak.
It can be a good rum, but I think it's a little overrated.
God og mild. Dejlig blid eftersmag. Lidt sød, men et godt glas
Opthimus 15 Ron Dominicano
Score: 7
fornuftig rom, smager lidt af brunkage.
(2022 - 7,0 - smager fint men lidt karakter)
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Has an orange peel taste with light caramel finish but burns a bit for a 15year old . Solid sipper but spring for their older expressions
