Honey yellow with copper reflections in the glass.
In the nose comforting and somehow familiar. Fruits that have been under the tree for days in tropical heat. Caramel with some wood chips in it.
Light and warm on the palate. A little caramel, some fruit and a bit of wood are accompanied by alcoholic burn.
On the finish, the caramel does linger a bit and some salt lingers.
A light summer rum without great depth, would prefer a Hong Thong or Sang Som. For a successful Thai evening. 6+

Had just a sample of this 5 year old Column distilled rum from Thailand. The brand is owned by the Dutch independent bottler Infinity Spirits.
From nose via palate to the rather long finish it’s spicy and woody but I also recognize hints of vanilla and tobacco.
Overall a gentle, smooth and rich rum that really surprised me in a positive way.

Harsh mouth and throat feel. Pretty sweet throughout, but not to the point of masking the other flavors. Flavors of oak, baking spices, and brown sugar with tobacco on the finish. Overall an interesting yet somewhat forgettable offering.

Nice flavor straight. Sweet with some oak.  Afterburn lowered rating a little, but price point of $25 USD raised it. Mixed well too.

A bit bitter, but full-bodied, oaky, fruity, very flavorful given its age.

Nice color, good taste, and nice finish, good drinking for night. 7/10

Vůně přezrálých citrusů, lehce vanilka a karamel, koření
Chuť: alkohol kopne, pepř, čokoláda, dub, sladká, kořenitá
Dochuť: kořenitá, dubová, kratší
7,4/10
Jako zástupce Thajska překvapivě skvělý!

Ve vůni jsou rumové pralinky a vanilka
Chuť je na konci ostrá
Krásná vůně, ale průměrná chuť

This one complements anyone's rum journey. Thailand, bring it on! I tried their Panama last time and it is basically the same as this one. What I like is that rum is worldwide and this bottling proves it. Yes, I'm not running after this but in my opinion, anyone on a circumnavigation of the rum world needs to go here. Hell, it's well worth the price ($24) for such a voyage! Also, dry which means no sugar doctoring.
