Alkohol: 43 %
Původ: Jamajka
Aroma: Větrovější vůně než 12, 8 a Signature Blend. Celkově je znát vyzrálost, voní jako akátové dřevo, med jen trochu. Poměrně svěží, lehká, decentní a zajímavá vůně. Srovnatelná co do kvality s dvanáctkou, ale jde na to trochu jinak. (86 b)
Chuť: Těží dřevo, i zde zajímavě do větrova. Hořkost už naštěstí úplně znizela, mléčná čokoláda, kakao. (85 b)
Body: 85/100
Another great release from Appleton Estates. This one has an interesting noise of oak but also bananas and burnt fruit. The first taste is more fruit but it’s still has a nice kick to it and isn’t fruity. I’ll definitely have this in my everyday dram rotation.
Enjoyed picking up a couple of these when visiting the distillery in Jamaica.
I find this less complex than some of the other Appleton's I have had. Not bad by any means, but not worth the money compared to the others in the lineup. Feels like it lost some of that funk.
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

A very good rum! Lovely color and packaging/presentation.
Really no funk to speak of. A pleasant, fruity nose, mild spice and alcohol, vanilla, some woody notes. Very approachable. Wood spices on the palate, caramel, oakiness, sweet up front with a nice bitter note on the back end, along with molasses. Well-balanced.
Makes for a good, standalone sipper and also serves decently in a single rum Mai-Tai, but comes through better mixed with Worthy Park 109, or Doctor Bird in this cocktail.
I do recommend this rum.
