Nose: restrained, but nice aromas, starting with a little funk blending into dried fruit and subtle wood notes
Palate: What starts as a promising bouquet of classic rum aromas is quickly overwhelmed by intense sweetness.
Sweetness: 5/5 
Burn: moderate, belying the high alcohol content
Throat: medium finish of sticky wood aromas

Summary: this could have been good, but was killed with sugar

This is currently the best in my cabinet. Just absolutely amazing. Amazing aftertaste.

Excellent dessert. Hazelnuts and hazelnuts again. Cocoa and butter is there too. Sweet nut bomb. 55 ABV suits it at best. Balances strong sweetness. Great sweet smell and taste.

Good smell with strenght, but still sweet, taste is really good, coffe and sweet fruit, end is sweet too. Nice job, 8/10

Tento rum je kombinací několika různých druhů rumů značky A.H. Riise, které následně zrají až 20 let. Rum by neměl být dobarvován.

Aroma: Sladké a zároveň štiplavé - pomerančová kůra, med, ztrouchnivělé dřevo, leštěnka na nábytek, kokos.
Chuť: Velmi sladká a lehce štiplavá.
Dozvuk: Spousta bonbónů, umělá sladidla, pomerančový šumák. Velmi nepříjemný dozvuk - jakoby uměle sladidlový.
Sladkost: 3/3
Celá lahev
Vůně je velmi povedená, chuť kromě sladkosti nic víc nenabídne a dozvuk je vyloženě sladidlový.

En god rom att dricka rent. en kryddig smak och ingen smak av alkohol. En stark eftersmak men inte obehaglig alls.

Na 55% je to hodně jemné a sladké.
Chuť je sladká s chutí kávy.

Strong sweet for sensitive man :)
I doubt that sailors drink something like that.
But as a curiosity is not bad.

Initial scent figs and fruits reminiscent of my other A.H. Riise rums, with a bit more nose of Caribbean blends. This is a great liquor, I would love to know how these flavors come to be, it seams unnatural by just distilling without additives. I welcome the 55% Navy strength to balance the depth of flavors. Another good auction score not something you find easily in America.
