NR: Not a gread DOK, the nose is good but the taste is behind 7 out of 10

This DOK was stored for six months in Pedro Ximรฉnez barrels before SBS was filling 183 bottles for the 9th German Rumfest 2019.
Nose: Typical high ester DOK nose with glue and pineapple. It's very sweet and sharp with some menthol. I can also smell the acid notes. This one reminds me of Kill Devil 2007.
I can't stick my nose deeper in the glas because of the sharpness. It's not a complex nose.
Taste: It starts not as sweet as the nose. The start is like the unaged HERR, very sharp with some glue/pineapple and menthol/ice candies some medical notes. Then some malt and pineapple are rising and disappear again. The finish is long and slightly bitter, green pineapple, glue.
It's one of the weaker DOKs. The nose is good but the taste is not sweet and fruity enough. I am bothered by aromas of menthol. I think it's too young. The SBS Jamaica 2019 WPE is much better.
Would rate that one with 76 points.
