Crystal clear in the glass.
Fruity and subtle on the nose. A very distinctive profile, sugar cane juice with all sorts of infused petals of tropical flowers and exotic spices. Fruits from different estates, wonderfully ripe, complete the whole.
The palate is soft and surprising. In the first moment there is nothing with sweet sugar cane juice. The spices and floral blossoms are very dominant, but the juice from the sweet cane skillfully washes out this dominance. The taste buds are jolted awake just a little by the 50%, very gently, to prepare for flavors of fruit.
The finish is long and lusty. Flowers and spices accompany the fruit slowly down, the sugar cane lingers a little longer on the tongue and brings a smile to the lips.
A great white Agricole that invites you to mix, which may also be enjoyed neat on a hot summer day. For all who like white Agricole Rhum.
Nice Ti'Punch with watermelon syrup. Test for the long weekend.

Alkohol: 50 %
Původ: Martinik
Aroma: Moc pěkná vůně ovocné pálenky, sladší, s lehkým nádechem podhoubí a trouchnivějícího dřeva, peckovin, vanilky, cukrové vaty. Třešňovice, višňovice, ringle. (84 b)
Body: 81
Shrnutí: Ochutnán s kamarádem na naší srpnové degustační akci.

Good for RA but not my white favorite rhum.
Not enough smooth

It’s a really flavorful agricole but it works. I get sweet, brine, ripe fruit … not any bad lingering.
Slightly hot , but not a lot for 50.
Mine says cuvee de 2016. It’s a little 20 cl bottle which came in a set of 3 from duty free in Martinique with the XO and VSOP.
I bought the 55 to drink there. Also nice

Very versatile, utterly unpretentious and not without some smoothness

Packs an alcohol punch, though surprisingly restrained in flavour. I don't really detect grass at all.
Taste reminds me a bit of slivovic; it has that fruity tang but a strange edge to it too. Perfectly drinkable neat, though it's really not what I would choose to do.

Adds a distinctive flavour to cocktails. Works really well in a Hurricane, though less well in a Dark 'n' Stormy. At £25, it's great value and much more flavourful than most at that kind of price.
Personally, I like a mixing rum that really punches through and makes its mark on a cocktail. It's not as interesting as a clairin, but hey it's half the price, and Hurricane to Hurricane, it's different but really not that far off.
Now for a Mai Tai!
