Bologne Le Distillat Brut de Colonne from Guadeloupe is made from red and black cane, distilled in the distillerys copper column and thereafter rested for 18 months and as for a Brut de Colonne then bottled without any reduction at 75,5%.
On the nose it’s soft, round, vegetal, fruity and peppery.
On the palate the aromas comes back, but it’s much more powerful, thick and fat with some sweetness from the cane.
The finish is long and tasting a lot like on the palate with some hints of juniper berry.
Overall an Agricole that has an exceptional roundness for its high ABV.
