Cheap alternative to Bacardi. Good for mixing. Nothing else.

Drank it neat. Not much complexity. Would only use as a mixer.

Goes best with cola or juice. As one reviewer said it has a "dirty sock" taste. I too noticed it and had to double check. I bought it for 9.99 at the local packy for the 4th of July weekend. Decent mixer, but that's it.

I don't think this rum is that bad.
Granted,it's not high end but it is superior to the other cheap rums(that cost more) & does just fine as a mixer.Just dandy for fruit juice & cola drinks & not too nasty straight . A little harsh
going down straight but there's a lot worse!
Best of the bottom shelf!

There is a tree bark, plastic, alcohol, caramel in the aroma.
Bitterness is dominant in the taste. Spicy cheese helps a lot.
Good for utilitarian purposes: warm, unload, load.

Could swap in for a Bicardi or maybe a Cruzan silver. Taste is minimal with no real strong notes. For the price it's not offensive but not astonishing. Good for Fogcutters or other drinks where stronger flavors will join in.

I wouldn't drink this straight-up or on the rocks, but it does well as a mixer for those on a budget.

Very cheap as a Bacardi substitute. No flavor really....pretty much just alcohol. Kinda 'sweet' tasting I guess. Best to be saved for college kids lol.
