Captain Morgan White

I have moved to Captain White from Bicardi. Would rate high than most mixing rums. Brands well.

This rum is my middle-of-the-road mixer. There's nothing good about it, but nothing bad either and it's not Bacardi, which is a bonus no matter how you cut it. (I really just do not enjoy the taste of Bacardi, even for mixing)

I primarily mix tropical cocktails for myself and friends so it is quite handy to have in the bar and I highly recommend it if you just need a mixing rum, though I'd never attempt to 'enjoy' it straight.

I must admit I only tried this rum out of a can of pre-mixed mojito.
Obviously this is not the ideal way to taste/test a rum, but it was much better than expected.
Didnt taste remarkable, but wasnt bad either.

I would never use this rum in anything but cocktails.

This white rum mixes very well and sips just fine. You will need to spend much much more to beat it and I have tried. There is not nearly as much sugar cane character in dark rums amd I am after cane. One or two ice cubes will do for sipping or just refrigerate.

I thought this was great until I started tasting more rums. It's not bad.

I liken this to Bacardi Superior, as in superior to nothing. The harsh taste and the lingering alcohol burn leave much to be desired. Not a fan and would not recommend.

It is very nice in combination like cocktails. As a straight up shot is not so good, at least not my taste

Though I have a friend who reacts to this white rum I tend to use it as my mojito rum of choice. She gets whatever alternative I have available. To be honest there are not too many options though I like Brugal myself.

Nothing to praise. Big name - a guarantee that you do not poison. ............ Вполне себе симпатичная бутылка, в аромате есть свежесть, терпкость, тростниковая сладость, которые выветриваются, оставляя запах спирта. Во вкусе доминирует горечь, от которой с трудом спасает гастрономия. Если пить чуть-чуть, то Капитан помогает согреться и расслабиться, иначе ощущение тяжести во всех частях тела и сжатие головы сократят ваш вечер, не подпортив следующий день.
