Bought this bottle to a very good price from Catawiki.
This Damoiseau 10yo rum is a blend of rums from the Bellevue distillery in Moule on the island of Grande-Terre in Guadeloupe.
It have spent a minimum of 10 years in ex-Bourbon oak barrels with a capacity of 190 liters.
The nose is complex, aromatic, fruity and smoky with hints of leather, cigar and tobacco.
The taste is fruity and spicy with hints of tobacco, mango, banana and grass and some sweetness.
The finish is quite long and the tastes are prolonged.
As a summary a great and elegant rum.
