Got a sample of this Rhum as a gift when ordering some other bottles.
This Rhum from the small family distillery, O Reizinho, in Madeira is bottled by the Independent bottler “Latitudes”.
In nose it’s a little pungent and besides that it’s fresh and fruity. I also recognise citrus and olive.
On the palate it’s oily but the pungency is gone, otherwise the aromas from the nose remains and I also recognise lemon, sugarcane and melon.
The finish is medium long and the recognised aromas remains.
The Agricole’s from Madeira is by the way the only ones outside the French Overseas Departments that’s widely recognised as true Agricole’s.
