The first time I tasted this spiced rum I was really happy with it. The next time I tasted vs other spiced rums and it was not worth the price in my opinion. The bottle is what you are paying for. The taste is just not where it is at

This is good rum. What I like most is that it is different. Spice is subtle. Extremely smooth. I think this IS a sipper. Vanilla and cloves with a nice balance. One of the best light runs I have tried. If it had a longer finish it would score 8. Expensive though!

This smells really good like Mexican vanilla with warm spices, not too strong on the alcohol scent. This gave me high hopes for it however when I sipped it, there was that strong ethanol feel in the throat. I added a splash of coke and that was excellent.

Not a big spiced rum person, but I liked the anise flavor. It is pricey, and I am not sure if it lives up to the price. I also have to say that I love the bottle.

This is a heavily spiced rum. Smells of sweet, smoky wine. Taste is very loud cinnamon/red hots candy, which overpowers pretty much all other flavors. Light colored and pretty smooth spiced rum. The bottles are very unique blown glass are certainly very neat, and bump this up a point.

This is a very unbalanced rum... I don't know if it's adulterated, just added sugar or what, but it just feels of chemicals on top of alcohol.

not the worst for a daiquiri if you're aware of the sugar, but i wouldn't buy this for sipping

And this one leaves a lot to be desired. Not sure of the overall aim of this spirit, but it misses the mark.

This rum has a nice smell of honey and vanilla on the nose with a hint of spiced. As you drink it you will notice a smooth dry sensation. Easy to drink and the taste brings a main flavor of black jelly bean, but it remains subtle as it blends with notes of honey, vanilla and a bit of spice. A decent blend with good mix ability.

Ok. The only thing I can say about it is it reminds me of Fireball, just not as harsh. If Iโ€™m having a night where Iโ€™m taking shots, this is nice to have, but at this price I wonโ€™t be keeping any. Iโ€™m sorry but not what I expected at all.

Cozumel rum is light in color and has slight vanilla nose. It is spicy initially but after ten minutes of breathing it is moderartely pleasant, not the best spiced rum I've had but a nice selection.
