Sweet, and some kind of chemical taste of almonds and apricots, alcohol is not felt. It is possible to drink only with cola
Strong spice flavor that can be overpowering, but properly mixed is tasty.
Balckheart was my very first rum. The taste was kinda strong with nice taste of vanilla and a after taste of a nice sweet tasting burn, I was filling Tipsy at 93 proof As a rookie in the rum world I dulid enjoy it enjoyed the taste and I will always keep a bottle in my cabinet. Next experience is Sailor Jerry rum.
If you want a boozy Dr. Pepper without altering the Dr. Pepper profile too much, mix this with Coke.
Worse than Captain Morgans, not a fan of the aftertaste.
Flavor overwhelmingly vanilla and bite. Nothing done to tone down the burn of alcohol and there's a distinctly medicinal aftertaste.
All that said, it goes amazingly in a Cuba Libre.
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Pretty much exactly what you'd expect for a spiced rum in the corner of the market that it's in. Not a lot of personality, more than slight burn, but not the worst thing in the world.
