Rum zrál 18 let v tropech v sudu po bourbonu,
1rok kontinentálně v sudu po koňaku Ferranda a
1 rok v 350l sudu po koňaku Borderie XO.

Aroma: Spousta tropického ovoce (banány, pomelo, pomeranče), květiny. Ovoce doplňuje odér benzínu a dehtu.
Chuť: Štiplavá, ovocná, hutně benzínová.
Dozvuk: Dehet mísící se s nahořklým ovocem (blumy, meruňky). Vše je velmi jemné, hebké, neagresivní. Velmi dlouhý.

V porovnání s ovocnějším ročníkem 1996 (Long Pond) Clarendon zvítězil. Ovoce a techničnost je v krásně jemném provedení. Laskomina!

Unlike the majority of Plantation rum offerings this one is a dry rum bottled at 51.6% ABV. I like to drink my rum neat and this rum is very good indeed. Good job Plantation! Will definitely buy a few more bottles in light of the “Limited Edition” production. 👍🥃

Great Clarendon notes, funky, burned banana and licorice. A pleasant burn in the finish. Well balanced ABV 51.6. The aftertaste is amazing as it just keep going for minutes. Drink this over time 30+ minutes and you will feel how it opens up. I get a quite high esters marque.I highly recommend this if you like Jamaican rum.
