it's not far from forgotten cask, it seems to be younger and it doesn't emphasize the black spices as much, but they are also present here, the taste of pineapple is a little faded but it keeps the bitterness in the aftertaste that seems more accentuated here

I find the balance between the molasses and the cane juice based rum parts fascinating.
Basically, to my palate, it is fine as it is; not too sharp, complex and interesting, good value for the price.

It doesn't tolerate much water, though; adding a few drops releases a bit more flavors while taming the sharpness a bit. Yet, adding more, I find the blend falls apart.
So, the ABV could be a tad higher; 46% might provide more flavors and maybe some astringency from the cane juice based part, as I like astringent rums, such as the St. James 12 year-old.

Awesome, I just love it. Not too dry, not too sweet. Good spicy. Great to enjoy pure.

Finom illata van, már azon is érzeni, hogy ez egy száraz rum. Nekem túl száraz, nekem jobban fekszenek a gyümölcsösebb vaníliásabb rumok. Azoknak ajánlom, akik a szárazabb vonalat kedvelik.

Just as The Forgotten Casks - it is rich, oaky and feels much more premium than it's actual price tag might suggest.

I don't like this that much..It's way too grassy and not sweet at all. Probably not my style of rum.. Also feel like it's a bit young with a lot of sharp edges.

Rum pochádza z destilérky z malého karibského ostrova Svätá Lucia, malo by ísť o blend rumov vyrobených z melasy aj šťavy cukrovej trstiny. Doba starnutia min. 5 rokov, voltáž 43%. Vôňa je pomerne výrazná a aromatická, cítim v nej veľa ovocia, korenín, dymu, na pozadí tiež vanilku. Chuťovo je skôr suchší, ostrejší, okrem spomenutého prezretého ovocia dominujú drevené tóny, z môjho pohľadu ho to ťahá už smerom k whisky. To už nie je celkom moja šálka kávy, naopak pozitívne hodnotím dlhý záver. Vzdialene mi pripomína dávnejšie ochutnávaný Pusser's British Navy, tento mi však chutí viac. Nebanujem kúpu celej fľaše, za danú cenu určite zaujímavá skúsenosť, no predsalen je to trochu mimo môjho hlavného ťahu. Subjektívny rating silných 6.

To je dobrota za ty peníze!!! Ovoce, květiny, hřejivé dřevo, trochu technické tóny, to samé v chuti. Musím mít doma láhev na baru!!!
