Barcelo Imperial Premium Blend 30 Aniversario

En fornuftig rom med en hæderlig smag. Der var langt ned til flasken efter købet. Alt det ekstra rundt om flasken tror jeg er grunden til at flasken har en høj pris

I've tried this ron some times ago and wasn't impessed. Of couse I understand the 30 - is not his age but it have quite respectable one whatever. Despite whis, it was not have big difference between regular Imperial alas((

I love rum! Dark, sweet, smooth rum! I really do. And this rum on paper has everything needed to satisfy me, but it really doesnt...

I think it is a very good rum. Maybe over aged. I don´t believe the aging is actually doing any better here. I would just bottle it earlier and sell it cheaper. Would consider buying again but at a lower price.

If you are used to and appreciate the Barcelo Imperial you will not be surpised by the 30 anniversario blend.

The bottle is very nice, mine came with a wooden stand in a metal box.
The smell is appealing, the taste is good (very Barcelo type) but it goes too fast away, there is nearly no after taste.

For a bottled priced in the 100€ I am left a bit disapointed, compared to the Barcelo Imperial priced one third of the price, I don't really find the added value except in the look of the bottle.

You might want to give it some time once served in the glass to warm up a little as I find it developing more taste (and better) after a few minutes in the glass.

Doesn't taste as good as I cost, but could be good to have at home for guest's;-)

I was hoping for a big surprise with a fancy bottle and case but for a 30 year old I was disappointed. It has a kick to it but I rather pay a cheaper price for a better taste. Just because it is more expensive doesn’t mean it will taste great. A lot of fancy bottling but just doesn’t get it. Maybe it has been sitting in the wrong barrel or something.

I bought it because a Total Wine and Spirits gave it a high rating. I will finish it but won’t give it away for a Christmas gift.

Sweet solera with a slight coffee aroma and taste, a bit pricy for sure.

You taste it's a aged rum but i just don't taste like it. Dry, harsh, weird bourbon/whiskey tastes. It just doesn't taste like a good rum. It's complex, lots of different tastes, but not one i like. For a top rum it's at the bottem. Nice bottle though. It was on my wantlist, but aftet tasting i removed it. Sorry
