Don't let the blonde fool you! This rum is full of flavor and sweetness, while staying smooth. Great warm or from the freezer.

I love Pilar dark, and it is the standard I compare rums to. Yes it is a blend, but who cares. So is a Reese’s peanut butter cup, and who doesn’t like those?
It was my favorite until I visited their store in Key West and they mixed the blond with the dark for me. Now I’m a huge fan of that blend too!!
That being said, the blonde is a great rum on its own!!

Had a couple of Hemingway Mojitos in Key West made with this rum. Tasty! Nice vanilla tones and sweetness.. Visited the distillery for a tasting. Love all their rums.

Rip me jib! This be a decent sippin' rum! Aye, she may be light in color, but don't go gettin' fooled by her appearance. This wench be gorgeous and full-bodied all the way down to her dark roots. On the nose, she smells sweeter than most, but solid with her oak and vanilla and caramel. On the tongue, she be not as sweet, but there be a buttery quality to the vanilla that first hits ya. Then there be a bit of citrus flavor. Not a hard citrus - nothin' to twist up your face or scare away the scurvy. It be subtle. Then there be a bit of oak, spices, and at the end, nuts. There be a hint of burn goin' down the hatch, but nothin' a few more shots won't fix. This be a smooth sippin' rum. Avast! If I had been blindfolded - as I have by many blondes - I would sworn on mother's eyes this be a dark rum. Might she be as good a rum as the Marquesas Blend or the Dark 24-Year? I dare say so, but give this lady a shot. She can more than handle herself. arrrgh!

I'm not really a fan of this, that said I am not a fan of silver rum as a whole so it didn't have much hope. Good mixer for blue hawaiin's but havent found another use of it yet.

It taste richer than it should meaning to many additives better than some gold's but not one of the best.

Not as much coconut flavor as I was expecting. Have only tried this on ice and was pleased. Nice mild coconut flavor on the finish, with a nice little burn at the end.

Inviting nose with butterscotch, but that's about it.

Reach for the other one.

Butterscotch smell and vanilla taste, for a white it's solid

I got this rum as a gift, and I was so surprised by its smooth, light, sweet taste.
