Thanks so much for submitting a report. It has been emailed to the Rum Captain and will be actioned shortly.
Got this sample in my first batch from Rum Ratings Tasting Club and tasted it tonight during the virtual tasting led by Joshua from S.B.S. and supervised by Angel.
It’s a Pot still rum from Worthy Park finished in former Cognac barrels and bottled by S.B.S.
It’s, or maybe was, sold in a 20cl bottle together with 3 other Worthy Park rums as part of S.B.S Experimental Cask Series Jamaica 2014.
In nose it’s fruity with clear hints of Cognac, but Josh told us that it’s a secret from what Cognac house the casks came from.
On the palate and during the medium long finish it’s still fruity with hints of Cagnac but also quite intense, complex, balanced and dry.
Finally I must say it’s a pity that it’s not possible to find it anymore, otherwise it could have had a place in my rumbar.
