Smooth. But the flavor is thin.very thin. Bottle claims vanilla and butterscotch. Maybe just a tiny, tiny bit but it is overwhelmed by the alcohol bite. No balance. No complexity. Very short, almost non-existent finish.

Smells great and tastes very light.
But has a hard bite and a bit bitter

This is a thin, lightly colored rum which has a light earthy aroma at first. This soon fades however. The flavors are thin, with a strong alcohol bite. Light fruity notes are present at first, but then are taken over by the bite without much substance. Will try mixing, but wouldn't use for sipping, and either way don't believe the flavor matches the price.

Not much on the nose and less on the palate. Very dry finish.

Butterscotch nose, very oaky, silky on the palate. Slight kick, sippable but feel it would be better in an old fashioned

It can be better... a lot better.
Thin nose and taste. No character.
Hopefully they fine tune and come back with a better product...

This has little to no flavor profiles present. The rum has a light color. I am definitely not a fan of this one.

The flavor of the rum is really light, with a hint of sweetness. I agree with the other reviews that it could come across as thin.

I concur with the reviewers mentioning thin flavor, so thin that the alcohol burn overwhelms the flavor almost immediately. Definitely not worth the price

I feel the price of this rum is a bit high at about $50.
A bit dry for my liking. Smells and tastes of oak and bourbon, with just a touch of molasses. Perhaps ok if you're more into bourbon aged rums, but I'm not a huge fan.
