Roble Viejo Maestro 6-Year

Great rounded color, bold vanilla, toffee, oak, leather and coffee flavor great for cocktails where you want to taste the tru rum flavor among the other ingredients.

On the nose I can feel pleasant combination of nuts, caramel, butter and vanilla, on the palate the nuts, caramel and butter are accompanied by a touch of vood and leather, all quite mild, the aftertaste is slightly spicy, with a mild sweet caramel and butter, rather short. Overall the rum is young by taste, definitely not unique, but likable. Reminds me of Santa Teresa Gran Anejo - it is a bit better than Santa Teresa, but it is also way more expensive. My review is based on 50ml sample.

Alkoholová vůně, lehce koření, pečené ovoce.
Sušší, dřevitý, s krátkou nevýraznou dochutÍ.
Dominuje alkohol, vanilka, čokoláda.
Byl by skvělý do cukroví místo tuzemáku.

Duft af brænd karamel og vanilje, som også går igen i smagen. Især smagen af karamel, men desværre brænder den lidt i halsen. Umiddelbart ville jeg give et 6-tal med pil op, men vil lade tvivlen komme den til gode og give 7.

Kinda generic bourbon aged rum, or at least seems so, deep unclear tones of sherry.

In der Nase holzig-elegant. Tropische Früchte wie Ananas, Mango, und Litschi mit etwas Karamell, Vanille und Gewürze in einem getoastetem Eichenfass vergoren.
Am Gaumen zurückhaltend-elegant. Karamellisierte Fruchtstückchen auf frisch geschnitzte Eichenspiesse gespiesst und mit ein wenig Kakao bepudert.
Im Abgang sind Holz, Schokolade und Früchte rasch verblasst.
Ein Leichter Sommer Rum der sicher gut zu einer Dachterrassen Party passt. Für Einsteiger und coole Drinks. -7

In the nose woody-elegant. Tropical fruits such as pineapple, mango and lychee fermented in a toasted oak barrel with some caramel, vanilla and spices.
On the palate restrained and elegant. Caramelised fruit pieces skewered on freshly carved oak skewers and powdered with a little cocoa.
In the finish wood, chocolate and fruit fade quickly.
A light summer rum that is sure to go well with a roof terrace party. For beginners and cool drinks. -7
