Not overly sweet, but heavy on raisin/currant flavors from aging in wine casks.

Nice sipper. Smooth but not overly complex. Not at all sweet. Has some alcohol punch , but in balance. Nice clean oak, lemon and grass notes. Very full. Stays on the pallet to a long cool finish. I may come back and give this an 8. Solid 7.5. Way to go Michigan. A โfreshwaterโ rum from the state that gave us the Flint Mi poison water debacle. Damn nice comeback!

Floral and clove nose, super smooth not too sweet, only reason its not an 8 is because the finish goes a bit tangy with an overburn like burnt caramel but not in a good way
